Job summary

Hatch in Katowice, Poland is seeking a Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Digital Products team. You will develop and execute automated tests, including UI tests with Cypress, and work with AI-assisted tooling to accelerate test authoring and debugging.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of QA experience, strong API testing skills, and hands-on experience with Playwright, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience in a team environment with hands-on automated UI testing.
• Cypress— required for this role; Playwright or Selenium experience is welcome.
• Experience testing GraphQL/REST APIs for API-level test authoring.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps (boards, pipelines) and GitHub.
• Demonstrable AI tooling experience (GitHub Copilot, Claude) to speed up test activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication with global stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional and system requirements to develop test scenarios and conditions.
• Develop and execute manual and automated testing plans to deliver high-quality software.
• Author and maintain automated UI tests (Cypress) and contribute to automation patterns.
• Establish QA processes, tooling, and coverage for new web product.
• Collaborate with a small AI-enabled development team and align with release cadence.
• Create documentation such as test plans, use cases, and test scenarios; identify and report defects.
• Plan and execute automated tests with Agile teams and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for AI-assisted testing and tooling to meet testing needs.
• Apply AI tooling to accelerate test authoring and defect triage with human oversight.
• Stay updated on quality standards and AI-driven testing practices.
• Report bugs with reproducible steps and risk mitigation notes.
