Job summary

ITConnect in Poland seeks an engineer to help build a Tech Modernisation Framework: an AI-driven solution that analyses legacy code repositories and rewrites them onto modern stacks. You will design agent workflows, prompts and tooling, and connect them to the CI/CD and deployment platform (Tekton, ArgoCD, Ansible).

Qualifications

• Strong Python programming skills and solid software engineering basics.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes basics).
• Familiarity with AI tooling, prompting, and agent-based development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve agent workflows, prompts and tooling that automate legacy code migration.
• Connect the framework to the CI/CD and deployment platform (Tekton, ArgoCD, Ansible).
• Work hands-on with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Maister) and a range of LLM providers.
• Collaborate with application teams to turn real migration cases into repeatable automation.
• Keep the solution vendor-agnostic and maintainable, applying clean-code and testing practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration in English.
