Job summary

CRU is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer Contractor to deliver a data-heavy commodity intelligence platform. You will own features from SQL queries through React components and deployment on Azure, using a modern TypeScript stack.

Work with Data Engineering to shape schemas, deploy via GitHub Actions, and apply AI tooling to improve the development process while ensuring security and performance in production environments.

Qualifications

• Experience owning features from database queries to frontend delivery.
• Experience with data-heavy platforms and AI tooling in workflows.
• Ability to work in an async-first distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-stack features via SQL, NestJS GraphQL, Apollo hooks, and React in Next.js.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to align schemas and data models.
• Deploy and support features on Azure App Services and Functions using GitHub Actions.
• Translate assets, costs, and valuations into testable features.
• Apply AI tooling in development while validating outputs.
• Prioritize testing, security, and performance for production readiness.
• Communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders and manage delivery risks.
