Job summary

DXC Technology in Warsaw seeks a data engineer to build and maintain scalable data pipelines, transformations, and data models using Python, SQL and cloud platforms.

You will implement AI-powered features (RAG pipelines, LLM-based assistants), develop backend components (REST/GraphQL, microservices) and frontend dashboards with modern JS/TS frameworks, while following best practices and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Good Python programming skills and basic software engineering experience.
• Good SQL knowledge with data transformations or data pipelines.
• Italian language proficiency sufficient for daily client communication and understanding the project context.
• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with GenAI concepts such as prompts, LLMs, embeddings, or RAG.
• Backend development experience with APIs, services, or integrations.
• Frontend development experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a framework (React, Angular, Vue).
• Git, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD familiarity.
• Willingness to learn and use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, transformations, and data models.
• Implement AI-powered features, including RAG pipelines and LLM-based assistants.
• Develop backend components such as REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices.
• Create frontend components and dashboards using modern JS/TS frameworks.
• Apply engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, reviews, and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
