Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Kraków is seeking an expert to define, deploy and maintain EDA tool flows and CAD infrastructure across the full SoC lifecycle. You will evaluate new EDA tools, integrate AI-based enhancements, and ensure scalable, cost-efficient performance while collaborating with design, verification, and physical implementation teams.

You will lead automation and CI/CD initiatives, manage licensing, and partner with EDA vendors to drive reliability and innovation in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Microelectronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Solid experience with complete EDA flows: simulation, synthesis, place & route, verification, and DFT.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Cadence, Synopsys, and Siemens EDA (Mentor Graphics) tools.
• Experience in tool validation, qualification, deployment, and support.
• Strong understanding of EDA licensing systems (FlexLM/Flexera).
• Experience with tool version control, release management, and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Define, deploy, and maintain EDA tool flows and CAD infrastructure for full SoC lifecycle.
• Evaluate, benchmark, and qualify new EDA tools, releases, and methodologies before production deployment.
• Design and operate EDA infrastructure environments (compute, storage, licensing, CI/CD, automation).
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for tool installation, regression and CI/CD pipelines, resource provisioning and monitoring.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for design and verification workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize tool usage and flows, and to debug tool-related issues.
