Job summary

project44 is seeking a Prompt Engineer/Agent Solution Architect to design, govern, and scale AI agent workflows for the AIA Operations group. You will partner with product, engineering, AI, and operations leaders to drive long-term performance, standards, and regional consistency.

The role is an individual contributor focused on measurable operational improvements through experiments and collaboration. The position emphasizes building repeatable AI workflows, governance, and proactive expansion

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years in transportation operations, logistics technology, carrier management, or network operations.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or workflow-based tech in operational contexts.
• Troubleshooting across EDI, API, data pipelines and workflow orchestration.
• Strong analytical skills with data dashboards and structured observation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AI agent workflows that automate carrier monitoring and escalation processes.
• Build customer-specific AI agent workflows for carrier lanes or accounts.
• Write, test, and optimise prompts for large language models.
• Monitor prompt performance and document changes with rationale for decisions.
• Handoff to engineers during deployment and ensure go-live accuracy.
• Expand use cases post-launch and refine prompts for new scenarios.
• Maintain production workflows and apply updates as data sources evolve.
• Evaluate new AI tools and provide integration recommendations.
