Job summary

Safran Aircraft Engines seeks a senior leader to manage the new Research & Development Center in Poland. You will steer the team, define the center's strategy for software, hardware, quality management, and financial processes, and drive knowledge capitalization.

You will have full accountability for project agreements, deadlines, and progress reporting with international teams, while also developing capabilities and deploying PM tools to improve efficiency and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master degree in engineering.
• Fluent English (C1) or higher.
• Experience as design/mechanical/stress engineer in aerospace preferred.
• Strong technical and management skills; ability to empower people.

Responsibilities

• Lead the R&D Center team, shaping strategy and capabilities.
• Define projects, deadlines, and track progress with international teams.
• Supervise and report progress of all activities and projects.
• Develop the Center by onboarding responsibilities, digitizing workload and PM tools.
• Foster a professional, ethical, partner-focused working environment.
