About the Role

As an ADAS Domain Technical Project Manager (TPM) within the Stellantis PDT you will lead the planning, execution, integration, and delivery of software solutions enabling Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Automated Driving features.

The ADAS TPM serves as the primary technical and program leadership interface across software development, feature integration, validation, architecture, product management, hardware teams, suppliers, and vehicle programs. The role is responsible for ensuring successful delivery of ADAS software capabilities from concept through vehicle integration and production release.

Unlike a traditional project management role, the ADAS TPM is deeply engaged in technical execution, engineering decision-making, system integration, dependency management, and software delivery governance across multiple organizations and global teams.

What You Can Expect

As an ADAS Domain TPM, you will drive the delivery of complex software programs supporting SAE Level 2, Level 2+, and Level 2++ automated driving functions.

Working closely with Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Managers, Functional Integration teams, Validation teams, Hardware Engineering, Vehicle Programs, and external suppliers, you will coordinate engineering activities across the entire software development lifecycle while ensuring alignment with technical, business, and vehicle program objectives.

You will proactively identify technical risks, resolve cross-functional dependencies, manage escalations, and facilitate critical engineering decisions that enable timely and high-quality software deliveries.

Success in this role requires strong technical understanding, excellent stakeholder management, and the ability to influence without direct authority in a highly matrixed global organization.

Key Responsibilities
ADAS Software Delivery Ownership
  • Own planning, execution, and delivery of ADAS software releases across multiple programs and vehicle platforms.
  • Ensure delivery commitments are aligned with program milestones, vehicle integration schedules, validation readiness, and launch targets.
  • Drive software release planning, integration readiness reviews, and delivery governance.
  • Establish and maintain rolling execution plans for all ADAS software workstreams.
  • Ensure alignment between software scope, technical content, and program objectives.
Technical Leadership & Program Execution
  • Act as the primary technical coordination point across ADAS development organizations.
  • Drive technical assessments, prioritization, and execution decisions in collaboration with Product Management, Engineering Leaders, and Solution Architects.
  • Facilitate architecture, engineering, integration, and validation decisions across multiple stakeholders.
  • Challenge assumptions and drive data-based decisions that improve delivery predictability and product quality.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure scalability, maintainability, and system performance.
Cross-Domain Coordination
  • Manage dependencies across ADAS software teams, vehicle programs, platform teams, validation organizations, hardware teams, and external suppliers.
  • Coordinate execution activities with Functional Integration, Product TPMs, Hardware TPMs, Component Engineering, Core Software, Validation, System Engineering, Vehicle Integration, and Program Management teams.
  • Ensure seamless communication between technical teams and program stakeholders.
Risk Management & Escalations
  • Identify delivery, technical, quality, and integration risks early.
  • Drive mitigation plans and escalation management for critical issues.
  • Lead resolution of complex cross-organizational challenges affecting software delivery, validation, or vehicle integration.
  • Balance customer experience, developer productivity, quality targets, and time-to-market considerations.
Change & Issue Management
  • Lead technical change management activities across ADAS software programs.
  • Ensure proper prioritization and execution of change requests, defect resolution, and software corrections.
  • Drive issue management processes, root-cause investigations, and recovery planning for critical software problems.
  • Govern software readiness metrics, release criteria, and technical sign-off processes.
Integration & Validation Readiness
  • Coordinate software integration activities from component level through vehicle-level validation.
  • Drive alignment between development, qualification testing, integration testing, and vehicle validation.
  • Monitor software maturity, KPIs, defect trends, validation status, and release readiness.
  • Ensure program teams have clear visibility of technical status and risks.
Process & Operational Excellence
  • Establish scalable engineering processes and delivery governance mechanisms.
  • Develop and improve operational metrics, performance indicators, and program health dashboards.
  • Promote engineering efficiency through standardization, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive organizational alignment around software lifecycle management, release management, and issue tracking.
Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the primary software interface for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate program status, technical risks, and delivery forecasts to leadership.
  • Foster constructive dialogue among engineering, product, and business teams.
  • Harmonize differing perspectives and drive consensus on technical and program decisions.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience working directly with software engineering teams in complex product development environments.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, system integration, and release management.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional and globally distributed engineering teams.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in ADAS, Automated Driving, Vehicle Software, Embedded Systems, or Software-Defined Vehicle platforms.
  • Understanding of automotive software architecture, vehicle integration, validation, and release processes.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR, embedded software development, sensor systems, perception, controls, or vehicle networking.
  • Experience managing software deliveries across multiple vehicle programs and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to influence technical decisions without direct organizational authority.
Success Profile

The ideal ADAS Domain TPM:

  • Thinks like an engineer and acts like a business leader.
  • Drives execution through influence rather than authority.
  • Understands the complete ADAS software lifecycle from requirements through vehicle validation.
  • Resolves ambiguity and enables fast, informed decisions.
  • Connects engineering teams, vehicle programs, and business objectives into a single delivery strategy.
  • Owns outcomes, not activities.

At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs. We welcome applications from people of all gender identities, age, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual orientation and disability.
