Job summary

ZF TRW Automotive in Poland is seeking an automation test engineer to analyze project documentation, design test specifications, and implement automated test scripts for camera-based Driver Assistance Systems.

You will execute automated and manual tests, maintain high-quality test documentation, and collaborate with a global project team while contributing to the development of HIL test environments and performing vehicle test drives.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics, computer sciences, software engineering or similar domain.
• Knowledge of script programming languages (e.g. Python, PERL, bash) or C language.
• Elementary knowledge of software testing.
• Good English skills (spoken and written).
• Very good problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze of project documentation (e.g. system requirements, system architecture, system design).
• Design test specification based on system description.
• Implement automated test scripts in scripting language.
• Assure the test coverage of system requirements.
• Prepare and maintain high quality test documentation.
• Execute automated and manual tests of camera based Driver Assistance Systems.
• Collect test result and report problems.
• Work with tools supporting test activity (e.g. change request database, configuration management system, automated test environments).
• Regular communication with global project team.
• Participate in development of automated test environment - HIL.
• Perform test drive in vehicle.
