Job summary

Danone is seeking a Junior Intercompany Accountant in Warsaw to support month-end closing, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions within a global finance team. You will work in a hybrid setup in Warsaw, with 3 days remote and 2 days in the office, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience, a finance-related degree, SAP and Excel skills, and fluent English

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Intercompany, Fixed Assets, or General Ledger accounting.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or related field (or currently studying and available to work full-time).
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP; strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end closing activities related to fixed assets and intercompany accounting.
• Create, maintain, and dispose of fixed assets in the accounting system.
• Calculate and monitor depreciation and assets under construction.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor aging of intercompany balances and support netting processes.
• Prepare financial analyses, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other Danone entities to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within accounting processes.
