Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our finance team in Warsaw. In this role, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with Polish accounting and tax regulations, and support month-end and reporting processes. You will also be involved in accounting support for other entities within the group, helping to maintain consistency and accuracy across different jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate accounting records in line with Polish GAAP.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, manage AP, reconcile accounts, and support month-end closing.
  • Handle business trip settlements and manage employee expenses using ExpenseIn.
  • Post bank statements and set up payments.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register.
  • Handle VAT and other tax-related filings, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and internal/external reports.
  • Collaborate with auditors and assist during annual audits.
  • Provide ad-hoc accounting support for overseas entities within the group.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on accounting experience (preferably in Poland).
  • Solid knowledge of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Good Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (SAP B1 is a plus).
  • Fluency in Polish and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with international accounting or group reporting is an advantage.
