Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team in Kraków. You will ensure accurate financial operations, maintain records in the D365 ERP, manage the AP cycle, and support month-end close and tax work.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or ACCA, 2+ years in accounting, and strong English and Excel skills, with an ability to work with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA qualification.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, including monthly and year-end closing.
• Proficiency with D365 ERP or similar systems and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English, well-organized with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle primary accounting documents such as invoices and bank statements.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the ERP system.
• Manage the AP cycle: recording invoices, preparing payments, and reconciliations.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including banking, customers, vendors and accruals.
• Prepare trial balance and materials for month-end close.
• Assist with statutory and tax audits and tax returns.
• Collaborate with finance team to implement financial strategies.

What You’ll Do

• Handle primary accounting documents such as invoices, bank statements, and more
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in our D365 ERP system
• Manage the AP cycle, including recording invoices, preparing payments, and reconciliations
• Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including but not limited to banking, customer, vendor, and accruals
• Prepare the trial balance and other materials for month-end close
• Participate in the preparation of tax returns and financial reports
• Assist with statutory and tax audits
• Work in tandem with the company's finance team members to successfully implement financial strategies

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or ACCA qualified or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in accounting
• Proven experience in monthly and year-end closing processes
• Experience in D365 or other ERP systems is an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Well-organized, motivated, and capable of working with limited supervision
