The Digital Services Unit (DIG) of Agency acts as the centre of expertise supporting the development, operation, and continuous improvement of ICT systems and digital services. As part of the Digital Operations Sector, the ICT Service Delivery Team is seeking experienced Cloud Engineers to support enterprise cloud infrastructure operations, automation initiatives, DevOps enablement, and cloud platform management.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management
- Administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize enterprise cloud environments.
- Manage cloud subscriptions, identities, resource provisioning, and operational processes.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions.
- Support cloud platform operations and infrastructure lifecycle management.
Cloud Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor cloud resource utilization, performance, and service consumption.
- Produce operational reports and capacity planning assessments.
- Support compliance, auditing, and operational monitoring activities.
DevOps & Development Support
- Provision and decommission development environments.
- Support DevOps projects and cloud-native development initiatives.
- Provide second-line technical support for development teams.
- Coordinate with third-line support and infrastructure teams to resolve complex incidents.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Create and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and operational procedures.
- Develop cloud-related user guides, manuals, standards, and SOPs.
- Ensure existing documentation remains accurate and aligned with infrastructure changes.
Operational Coordination
- Participate in service reviews, operational meetings, and project activities.
- Collaborate with multiple technical and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and cloud transformation projects.
- Perform additional cloud operations and infrastructure-related tasks as required.
Mandatory Requirements
Education & Experience
- University degree equivalent to EQF Level 6 or higher.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer or comparable role.
- Professional English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
Required Certifications
- Mid-level AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud certification (or internationally recognized equivalent)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
