Job summary

Intetics Inc. is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our team and craft intuitive, user-centered experiences for medical device software products.

The role focuses on web-based information systems with strong emphasis on usability and cross-functional collaboration. You will translate complex requirements into polished UI designs, build and maintain a design system, and work with product owners, developers, and stakeholders through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in UI/UX design for web-based information systems.
• Experience designing software solutions for medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries.
• Strong expertise in user flows, wireframing, mockups, interactive prototyping, and responsive web design.

• Work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices within the healthcare and medical device domains.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and business requirements in the medical device sector
• Translate complex requirements into intuitive and visually appealing designs
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD
• Develop and maintain a reusable design system to ensure consistency across medical device software products
• Provide UX solutions and recommendations to enhance usability and the overall user experience
• Work closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX best practices within the healthcare and medical device domains

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong focus on web-based information systems
• Previous experience designing software solutions for the medical device, healthcare, or life sciences industries
• Strong expertise in user flows, wireframing, mockups, interactive prototyping, and responsive web design
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Axure RP, InVision, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
• Experience creating and maintaining design systems and UI component libraries
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and SASS
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to effectively work within cross-functional and Agile teams

Nice to Have

• Experience conducting usability testing and user research
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and healthcare compliance requirements
• Understanding of front-end development workflows
• Experience with complex enterprise or data-driven applications
