Job summary

HugoBank seeks a Reconciliation & Settlement Officer to manage daily transaction matching, net settlement calculations, and settlement GL postings across 1Link, SBP Raast, and Visa networks.

Role requires precise data validation, variance resolution, and timely regulatory reporting to SBP, with close coordination with Treasury and Finance teams. Attention to detail and maker-checker discipline are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in payment operations, reconciliation or settlement in banking/fintech.
• Hands-on experience with digital payment networks (1Link, SBP Raast, Visa, PayPak, SBP PRISM).
• Solid understanding of double-entry accounting, GL mapping and net settlement calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily end-to-end reconciliation across digital payment channels.
• Validate transaction data from internal systems and external networks.
• Execute transaction-level matching using identifiers like STAN, RRN, ARN and timestamps.
