Role: Hands‑on WordPress Intern working with leadership on client and internal projects. Assist in building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress sites; contribute to front‑end and basic back‑end tasks; help ensure quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and customization of WordPress themes and plugins using best practices.
• Implement responsive front‑end layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (frameworks/libraries as directed).
• Assist in content migration, site configuration, and setting up page builders and custom post types.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, debugging, and plugin compatibility checks.
• Use Git for version control and collaborate on code reviews.
• Optimize site performance: image compression, caching, asset minification.
• Follow security hardening guidelines and contribute to QA and deployment packaging.

Job Specification – Must‑have (practical)

• Familiarity with WordPress CMS: installing themes/plugins, configuring settings, using page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Basic front‑end: semantic HTML5, responsive CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript fundamentals.
• Exposure to PHP for simple theme/plugin customization and template modification.
• Knowledge of Git and basic command‑line usage.
• Understanding of web performance optimization (image compression, caching, asset minification).
• Basic SEO and accessibility awareness for content/markup.
• Debugging skills: browser devtools, error logs, plugin conflict isolation.
• Familiarity with local development environments (Local, XAMPP, MAMP) and FTP/SFTP.
