The Freedom Institute is a leading education and training organization based in Lahore with a growing presence in Lahore. We provide structured learning programs focused on halal cryptocurrency trading and digital finance, helping learners apply Islamic financial principles to modern markets. As a Video Editor Intern you will support our content team by turning lesson material, interviews, webinars and short‑form social content into polished, on‑brand video assets that engage learners across platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Edit course video lectures and webinar recordings into clear, concise modules suitable for online learning platforms.
• Create short‑form social videos (3090 seconds) from long‑form content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts and TikTok.
• Assemble raw footage, add lower‑thirds, captions, transitions and motion graphics consistent with brand guidelines.
• Sync and clean up audio tracks, reduce background noise and ensure consistent levels across episodes.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and subject‑matter experts to implement feedback and ensure learning objectives are preserved.
• Export and prepare final videos in required formats and resolutions for web, mobile and LMS upload, maintaining an organized media library and project files.
• Assist with basic animation, thumbnail creation and repurposing content into bite‑sized clips for marketing campaigns.

The role is an internship with close mentorship from senior editors and content producers; you will gain hands‑on experience in educational video production and a portfolio of completed learning assets. Candidates should be based in or able to commute to Lahore for occasional in‑person meetings and studio sessions. Job Specification

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic motion graphics and compositing using After Effects or equivalent tools.
• Experience with audio editing and cleanup (Adobe Audition, Audacity, or built‑in tools) and loudness normalization.
• Knowledge of captions/subtitle workflows and ability to produce accurate, readable captions for educational content.
• Understanding of aspect ratios, bitrates and export settings for YouTube, Instagram and mobile platforms.
• Strong storytelling sense to structure lessons and maintain learner engagement across formats.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines, maintain consistent typography, color and lower‑third design.
• Organizational skills for managing project files, versioning and backup; familiarity with cloud file sharing is a plus.
• Good communication and collaboration skills for working with instructors and instructional designers.
