Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Urdu or related field, teaching certification preferred, fluent Urdu with working knowledge of English, and experience using educational technology.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of 1–2 years as an Urdu teacher or in a similar educational role.
• Strong knowledge and proficiency in Urdu, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Capable of teaching students with different learning needs and levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a structured learning environment.
• Creative and flexible teaching approach to accommodate various learning styles.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail in planning and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Urdu language lessons to students across varying proficiency levels.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to prescribed teaching curriculum, incorporating various teaching methods and strategies.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods to cater to individual learning needs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and growth.
• Prepare and administer periodic tests, quizzes, and other assessments to evaluate student performance.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic and behavioral issues.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
