The Ministry of Energy invites applications for Technical Consultant (Upstream) to advise the Directorate General of Petroleum Concessions on licenses, field development plans, and pricing.

Educational requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Petroleum Engineering, Geology, or Geosciences with 16 years of education and PEC registration. Experience in exploration, drilling, or reservoir engineering is needed for the role.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Petroleum Geosciences with 16 years education from an HEC recognized institution with PEC registration
• Minimum 12 to 15 years of professional upstream experience in exploration, drilling, or reservoir engineering in leading E&P companies

Responsabilités

• Advise the DGPC on exploration licenses, field development plans, and wellhead pricing
• Evaluate license applications, review development plans, and draft upstream petroleum policies
• Prepare for and pass a 100 MCQs screening test covering domain specialization, governance, and English analytics
