Job description

Strategic Transport Planning:
- Optimize routes and delivery schedules
- Manage elapsed drive and service times
- Ensure capacity utilization for vehicles
- Maintain quality assurance
- Proper disposition of food products during spills or disasters
- Ensure safety, hygiene, and food quality
- Temperature monitoring
- Conduct quality checks before loading, during transit, and after loading

Loading:
- Arrange labor for loading/unloading if required, maintain records, and handle related tasks
- Coordinate loading information between driver and client
- Provide instructions/training to workforce on cargo loading
- Optimize load and unload times

In Transit Operations:
- Respond to vehicle accidents and assist drivers
- Handle road breakdowns, repair or replace parts to restore vehicle service
- Monitor vehicle movement from origin to destination
- Handle driver queries during transit
- Keep customers updated on cargo status
- Record timings and dates of loading, unloading, and stops
- Manage and report work-related injuries
- Maintain documentation and generate reports for analysis
