Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence is seeking a Trainee Engineer to join our dynamic team. Fresh graduates will undergo structured training on automation, control, and instrumentation systems, assisting senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.

You will gain hands-on exposure to PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems, while developing foundational skills in programming, documentation review, and field coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduates / 0–1 year of experience encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation, control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and control diagrams is an advantage.
• Basic programming knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop hands-on technical expertise.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and travel to sites when required.
• Commitment to HSE and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Undergo structured training on automation, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Assist senior engineers in installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Support site surveys, technical assessments, and data collection under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Gain hands-on exposure to PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems.
• Develop foundational skills in PLC/SCADA programming, testing, and commissioning.
• Assist in control system engineering activities and exposure to DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas implementations.
• Review and interpret engineering documents (P&IDs, FRS, C&E, control narratives).
• Coordinate with senior engineers and communicate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Support project schedules, site progress, and technical deliverables.
