Job summary

INTECH Automation Intelligence invites fresh graduates to join as Trainee Engineer. You will undergo structured training on automation, control and instrumentation, supporting installation, testing, commissioning, startup and troubleshooting of industrial systems.

You will gain hands-on exposure to PLC/SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems, review engineering documents, and collaborate with senior engineers across multiple sites while emphasizing HSE and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Mechatronics or related field.
• Fresh graduates / 0–1 year of experience encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation, control systems, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings such as P&IDs and control diagrams is an advantage.
• Basic programming knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop hands-on technical expertise.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and travel to customer sites.
• Commitment to HSE and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Undergo structured training on automation, control, and instrumentation systems.
• Assist senior engineers in installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting.
• Support site surveys, technical assessments, and data collection.
• Gain hands-on exposure to PLC, SCADA, DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas systems on projects.
• Develop foundational PLC/SCADA programming, testing and commissioning skills.
• Assist in control system engineering activities and exposure to DCS, SIS, and Fire & Gas implementations.
• Review and interpret engineering documents (P&IDs, FRS, CA & EF diagrams, control narratives).
• Coordinate with senior engineers and support communication with customers and subcontractors.
• Support engineering teams in monitoring project schedules, site progress, and deliverables.
• Participate in technical training sessions and continuous learning.
• Maintain focus on HSE requirements at project sites.
