Job summary

ACE Money Transfer is seeking a junior-to-mid-level SOC specialist to support security operations across SIEM tuning, threat intelligence, and proactive hunting. You will work toward detection engineering goals, aligning with MITRE ATT&CK and collaborating with a small SOC team in a UK-linked environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of SOC experience, basic SIEM familiarity, and a drive to advance into detection engineering, threat hunting, and intelligence work.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a SOC or security analyst role.
• Basic familiarity with SIEM platforms and how alerts are generated.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and common attack techniques.
• Ability to read security logs across endpoint, cloud, or identity sources.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and fine-tune SIEM alerts to reduce noise and adjust thresholds.
• Write basic SIEM detection rules guided by MITRE ATT&CK with team support.
• Keep ACE's IOC list up to date by adding new malicious indicators and ensuring blocks.
• Run structured threat hunts using SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms to detect overlooked activity.
• Document hunt activity and outcomes clearly, including rules created or updated.
