Job summary

10Pearls, LLC is seeking a senior leader to oversee Testing Capability operations, demand management, and governance across delivery teams. You will coordinate tooling, reporting, and capacity planning to ensure consistent service delivery.

You’ll work with the Senior IT Test Manager and Portfolio Test Manager to ensure efficient operating foundations and will drive continuous improvement, QA automation, and AI-enabled testing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Test Management, or Quality Engineering.
• Experience managing testing services, demand management, resource planning, and operational delivery within a large IT environment.
• Strong understanding of Test Management, QA, Test Automation, and Quality Engineering practices.
• Proven experience in capacity planning, workforce management, forecasting, and resource utilization tracking.
• Experience producing governance reports, RAID logs, status reporting, and executive dashboards.
• Familiarity with testing tools, licensing management, procurement processes, and test administration activities.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership, delivery teams, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and improvement of testing engagement workflows and service request mechanisms.
• Act as deputy to Senior IT Test Manager and Portfolio Test Manager in forums.
• Own operational delivery of Testing Capability service and ensure demand processed within SLAs.
• Manage testing demand intake, prioritization, and distribution across teams.
• Maintain rolling 3, 6, and 12-month testing demand and capacity forecasts.
• Coordinate resource allocation across projects and testing functions.
• Identify resource constraints, risks, and escalation points; support business cases for more resources.
• Track and report utilization across permanent, contract, and outsourced testing personnel.
• Produce operational reports, service metrics, and monthly Test Capability Status Reports.
• Lead Test Leadership Meetings and maintain RAID logs, action trackers, and improvement initiatives.
• Monitor test demand, utilization, defect leakage, quality metrics, and overall service performance.
• Support internal audits, compliance requirements, and governance activities.
• Coordinate test tool licensing, administration, and procurement activities.
• Manage testing SharePoint sites, documentation repositories, and knowledge management processes.
• Support onboarding and integration of new testing personnel.
• Drive testing capability improvement initiatives, including process optimization and service enhancements.
• Support the adoption of AI-enabled testing solutions, test automation frameworks, non-functional testing, and quality engineering practices.

Role: The role provides leadership across testing operations, demand management, resource planning, governance, tooling administration and service delivery processes. Working closely with the Senior IT Test Manager and Portfolio Test Manager, the postholder ensures the Testing Capability operates efficiently, supports delivery teams effectively, and has the operational foundations necessary to enable strategic transformation initiatives.
