Job summary

Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. seeks aTech Lead for the Fund Applications team in Los Angeles. You will architect, design and modernize the technology systems we rely on, and you will be hands-on 80% of the time to build/maintain microservices and API-based solutions.

The role requires directing end-to-end solution architecture, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product owners, agile teams, and leadership to establish architecture standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM field.
• 12+ years as a software developer and 5+ years as a Tech lead.
• Experience moving to microservices and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on role, guiding a small team of developers.
• Drive end-to-end architecture design and ownership.
• Provide technical oversight and code/design reviews.
• Establish architecture standards and reusable patterns.
• Act as SME for fund applications and DevOps practices.
