Job summary

Metaworld Consultants is a professional firm delivering accounting, tax, regulatory and advisory services across the UAE and GCC. The Assistant Manager–1 will manage corporate tax, VAT and related tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, requiring strong UAE tax knowledge and report-writing skills.

You will act as the day-to-day contact, coordinate deliverables, monitor deadlines and supervise junior staff, while working with the Tax Manager to maintain service quality and nurture client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field; professional qualification preferred.
• CA, ACCA, CIMA, ICMA or an equivalent professional qualification.
• 2–3 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a tax consultancy, accounting firm or professional services environment.
• Practical experience in UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, or Pakistan direct and indirect taxation.
• Experience in tax registrations, returns, reconciliations, refunds, tax authority submissions and EmaraTax or equivalent portals.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver UAE Corporate Tax, VAT and other tax compliance assignments in line with legislation and tax authority requirements.
• Prepare and review tax registrations, deregistration, amendments, tax returns and related submissions.
• Review tax computations and working papers for accuracy and supporting documentation.
• Review financial records for tax implications and potential exposures.
• Coordinate collection of client information and documents for tax filings.
• Monitor deadlines and maintain compliance trackers to ensure timely submissions.
• Utilize EmaraTax and related portals for registrations, filings and follow-ups.
