Job summary

ClearPath Institute in Lahore seeks an Assistant Manager Accounts & Taxation to oversee tax compliance and accounting processes. The role covers monthly sales tax returns, WHT filings, and coordinating with tax authorities while supporting month-end and year-end closings.

The candidate should possess ACCA/CA/ACMA or MBA (Finance) (part qualified acceptable), strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems to ensure deadlines and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax regulations (FBR & PRA).
• Proficient in MS Excel (Advanced) and Accounting Software / ERP.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file Monthly Sales Tax Returns and maintain complete records.
• Prepare and file Withholding Tax (WHT) Statements / Returns under relevant sections.
• Ensure full compliance with Income Tax and Sales Tax laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with tax authorities, handle tax notices and maintain tax documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing & reporting.
• Assist in internal and external audits and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Liaison with consultants and regulatory bodies where required.
