Job summary

Samba Bank Limited is seeking a T24 Application Administrator to manage the Temenos T24 Core Banking Application and related infrastructure in a permanent full‑time role.

You will support AIX servers, perform system upgrades, coordinate with the T24 vendor, manage backups and disaster recovery testing, and assist development teams with T24 test environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years banking experience required.

Responsibilities

• Management and Administration of Temenos (T24) Core Banking Application including performance tuning and optimization.
• Support AIX Server infrastructure and system administration tasks including design, maintenance, configuration, and implementation of system upgrades and deployment of Core Banking services.
• Installation, integration and configuration of T24 application and related software as needed.
• Patches management as per SOP, monitoring and execution of COB processes and issue root cause analysis.
• Proactive monitoring of T24 & AIX systems environment and problem resolution, user support, system application support, OS support.
• Supporting backup and restore of data, BC methods and DR testing.
• Coordinate with T24 vendor for support management, contract reviews and improvement recommendations.
• Scheduled backups tracking and ensuring root cause analysis for service outages.
• AML & FCM administration, and support to users on day-to-day operations.
• Support to development team in administrative issues and management of T24 Test Environments.
• Administration of IBM ACE (IIB) for integration with Core Banking System and deployment of BAR Files; establish ODBC connections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and Administration of Temenos (T24) Core Banking Application also perform performance tuning and optimization on regular basis.
• Support AIX Server infrastructure and its system administration tasks including the design, maintenance, configuration, and implementation of system upgrades and deployment of Core Banking services.
• Installation, Integration and configuration of T24 application and related software is on required basis.
• Patches management as per defined Standard Operating Procedure, monitoring and execution of COB processes and find anomalies in case of any issue.
• Proactive monitoring of T24 & AIX systems environment and problem resolution, user support, system application support, Operating System support etc.
• Supporting backup and restore of data, business continuity methods and policies, system High availability and Disaster Recovery strategy and testing.
• Coordinate with T24 vendor for support management, review contracts give recommendations for improvement.
• Scheduled backups and keeping track of backups as per the retention policy, ensure root cause analysis is completed for all service outages.
• AML & FCM Administration, management and providing support to users on day-to-day operational tasks.
• Providing support to development team in administrative issues & Responsible for T24 Test Environment Creations & management.
• Administration of IBM ACE (IIB) for the integration of allied application with Core Banking System.
• Responsible for the creation of Nodes , Execution Group on IBM ACE and deployment of BAR Files also stablish ODBC connection with relative Databases.
