Job Description & Position Overview

The Sweeper reports to the Caretaker / Administrative Incharge. Responsibilities include daily sweeping and mopping of exchange corridors, office rooms, and customer areas, descaling and disinfecting washrooms, emptying waste bins, clearing outdoor yard litter, and cleaning drainage channels.

• Sweep and damp-mop administrative corridors, office rooms, and telecom equipment hall entrances.
• Scrub, descale, and disinfect toilet bowls, urinals, washbasins, and bathroom floor tiles daily.
• Empty wastepaper baskets and trash cans, replacing plastic garbage liners regularly.
• Replenish liquid hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in staff restrooms.
• Operate dual-bucket mopping trolleys, ensuring floors dry quickly without slippery soap residue.
• Sweep outdoor walkways, paved courtyards, and parking areas, collecting dried leaves and sand.
• Clear building roof gutters, floor drain traps, and outdoor stormwater drainage channels.
• Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, gumboots, masks) during all cleaning duties.
