Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Student Counselor role based in Lahore. The Student Counselor will provide one-on-one guidance to prospective students on study abroad options, suitable programs, and destination countries, and will assist them in understanding admission and visa requirements. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, evaluating academic profiles, recommending appropriate institutions, and explaining application processes and timelines. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to prepare and review documents, support visa filing, and maintain accurate records of student interactions and case progress. The Student Counselor will also respond to inquiries in person, by phone, and online, participate in seminars or information sessions, and contribute to building long-term relationships with students and their families.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling skills, including study abroad guidance and support throughout the application journey.
• Candidates should possess Career Counseling skills to help students clarify goals, choose suitable programs, and align education paths with future opportunities.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with clear spoken and written English and Urdu and the ability to explain complex procedures simply.
• Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills, including empathy, patience, and the ability to manage expectations and handle inquiries professionally.
• Candidates should possess a sound understanding of Education systems and admission processes for international universities and colleges.
• Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or related field) preferred.
• Prior experience in student counseling, study abroad advisory, or education consultancy is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
• Comfort with basic computer applications, online research, and maintaining digital records.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment in Lahore and maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
