Role Description

The Student Counselor role at Edurite Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The Student Counselor will provide guidance to students on educational paths, study abroad options, and career opportunities. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, advising on suitable institutions and programs, and explaining visa and admission requirements. The role also involves assisting with documentation, maintaining accurate student records, coordinating with partner institutions where applicable, and offering ongoing support throughout the application and visa process. The Student Counselor is expected to deliver responsive, professional service to students and their families while collaborating with colleagues to improve counseling processes and resources.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide effective Student Counseling and Career Counseling tailored to individual needs.
• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to engage with students and families professionally.
• Background or strong interest in Education, particularly in international study programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Business, or a related field.
• Prior experience in academic advising, student services, or study abroad consultancy is preferred.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases.
• Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment and using digital tools to track student progress.
