Job summary

Harpal Textiles, based in Lahore, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function for a ring spinning mill. The role is on-site at the Lahore head office with periodic visits to the Sheikhupura mill.

You will oversee accounting, costing, taxation, and reporting, directing a small finance team and coordinating with auditors and banks. You will manage working capital, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decisions, ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance and strong cost control across fiber,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of finance experience in a ring spinning mill required.
• Hands-on yarn costing and profitability analysis experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Experience with Sales Tax Act, Income Tax Ordinance, and FBR compliance.
• Cash flow management, working capital, and banking relationships management.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial statements per IFRS and GAAP.
• Develop budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
• Analyze production costs, yarn costing, and inventory for profitability.
• Oversee cash flow and liquidity for daily operations and investments.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory reporting (FBR).
• Lead and develop a finance team of three professionals.
• Support ERP implementation and maintain financial data integrity.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and sales to align financial processes.
• Ensure cost estimation accuracy and optimize resource allocation.
• Maintain accounting processes in SAP or Oracle Financials.
