Job summary

Igate Technologies is seeking a creative, research-driven content writer with 4–5 years of B2B writing experience to develop content for our wholesale website, LinkedIn, and community platforms. You will craft web pages, press releases, blogs and campaigns that boost organic visibility and engagement.

The role focuses on tailoring content to buyer groups and platforms, planning LinkedIn leadership content, and building professional communities.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of relevant B2B content writing experience, supported by a portfolio demonstrating creative and business-focused work.
• Experience writing for wholesale or other B2B websites, with an understanding of retailers, distributors, gyms, clubs and business buyers.
• Proven ability to write press releases, case studies, LinkedIn articles, blogs, campaigns and website copy.
• Strong creative writing and copywriting skills, with the ability to develop fresh angles and adapt messaging to specific audiences.
• Practical experience with LinkedIn content strategy, organic visibility, content distribution and audience engagement.
• Hands-on experience in community building, professional relationship development and discussion management across relevant platforms.
• Understanding of community audiences, platform guidelines and how to contribute useful content that encourages participation.
• Strong research, interviewing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, buyer journeys and content performance metrics.
• Ability to track reach, impressions, engagement, follower and community growth, website traffic and relevant enquiries.
• Strong reporting skills, including maintaining consistent data and turning findings into practical content decisions.
• Familiarity with AI prompting for research, ideation and drafting, supported by original writing, fact-checking and editorial judgment.

Responsibilities

• Write and update wholesale website content, including landing pages and category pages.
• Create press releases, case studies, SEO blogs, LinkedIn articles, newsletters and campaigns.
• Develop content tailored to buyer groups, markets and platforms.
• Plan and write LinkedIn company pages and leadership profiles, including posts and articles.
• Improve LinkedIn visibility through consistent publishing and audience engagement.
• Identify and nurture B2B communities across LinkedIn and industry groups.
• Create community-specific content and moderate conversations in the brand voice.
• Build relationships with customers and partners for interviews and shared content.
• Use feedback to identify customer challenges and content opportunities.
• Research industry trends and competitors to produce timely, credible content.
• Gather information from internal and external sources and verify facts before publication.
• Prepare clear briefs for designers covering messaging and visuals.
