Job summary

Mashreq Careers is seeking an experienced accounting professional to ensure timely reconciliation, posting of entries, and preparation of trial balances and financial statements. The role requires close collaboration with Trade Operations, Technology, Product, Central Finance, and VAT teams to coordinate activities.

The candidate should have CA/ACCA or a Master in accounting and finance, 3–7 years in accounting/finance, and hands-on experience with multiple banking systems such as CBS/Flex,

Qualifications

• CA/ACCA or Master in accounting & finance plus 3–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with multiple systems (CBS/Flex, ELCM, SWIFT, UAEFTS, EDMS).
• Proficiency in IFRS and accounting standards.
• Strong reconciliation, posting and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely reconciliation, posting of accounting entries and preparation of trial balances and financial statements.
• Provide reconciled reports to Central Finance and VAT teams.
• Coordinate with Trade Ops, Technology, Product, Central Finance and VAT for smooth execution.
• Monitor reconciliations and escalate issues promptly to management.
