Merik Solutions in Pakistan is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our Data & AI team. You will design, build, and ship production ML systems for enterprise clients, working directly with real data at scale.

This hands-on role puts you in ownership of technical decisions, with opportunities to shape our AI approach across the company while mentoring juniors and collaborating with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software with ML/AI
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn
• Experienced deploying LLM-powered features to production (OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, vector DBs)
• Knowledge of deploying ML models on AWS, GCP or Azure
• Ability to explain complex ideas clearly to clients

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end ML pipelines for enterprise clients from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring
• Ship LLM-powered applications, including RAG systems, AI agents, and fine-tuned models
• Partner with client engineering teams to integrate ML into existing infrastructure
• Run technical discovery sessions and translate business problems into ML solutions
• Help junior engineers grow and contribute to internal ML tooling and practices
• Stay updated with the fast-moving AI landscape and bring new ideas to the team

We'd love to welcome a Senior AI/ML Engineer to our growing Data & AI team. You'll partner directly with enterprise clients to design, build, and ship production machine learning systems that solve real business challenges.

This is a hands‑on role where you'll build systems that run in production, work with real data at scale, and collaborate with engineering teams to bring ML into existing architectures. We love pragmatic solutions that actually ship.

What your days will look like

• Design and build end‑to‑end ML pipelines for enterprise clients — from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring

You might be a great fit if you…

• Have been building software for 5+ years and spent a good chunk of that time deep in ML/AI
• Feel at home in Python and have hands‑on experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit‑learn
• Have shipped LLM‑powered features to production using tools like OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, or vector databases
• Know your way around deploying ML models on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Have a solid grasp of ML fundamentals — feature engineering, model evaluation, and the gotchas that come with real‑world data
• Enjoy explaining complex ideas in simple terms — you'll be working directly with clients who value clarity

Bonus points (but not required!)

• You've worked with MLOps tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, or Vertex AI
• You've been in consulting or client‑facing technical roles before
