The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in CS/IT/Software Eng and has 3–5 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and related tools. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential as you will coordinate with IT teams and business users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in database administration.
• Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Monitor database performance, availability and capacity.
• Manage backups, restoration, recovery and DR.
• Troubleshoot database, connectivity and performance issues.
• Perform query optimization, indexing and maintenance.
• Manage database security, users, authentication, and SQL Server Agent jobs.
• Support application deployments, integrations and database changes.
• Coordinate with IT teams, developers, vendors and business users.
• Monitor DBCC checks, blocking, deadlocks and long-running queries.
• Monitor cluster health, failover status, synchronization and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and run DBCC and diagnostic checks, blocking, deadlocks, long-running queries, and resource-intensive operations.
• Monitor cluster health, failover status, synchronization, and database availability.
