Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with test-management and issue-tracking tools; basic automation knowledge is a plus.

Role Description

The SQA Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lahore, responsible for ensuring the overall quality and reliability of software products. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and executing test plans and test cases, performing manual testing across web and mobile applications, and documenting defects with clear, actionable details. The SQA Engineer will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, validate functionality, and support timely releases. The role also involves contributing to process improvements, participating in reviews, and helping maintain best practices in software quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Quality, Software Quality Assurance, and Quality Assurance.
• Candidates should possess solid Manual Testing skills, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
• Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of Software Development concepts and the software development lifecycle.
• Relevant experience with web and mobile application testing, cross-browser and cross-platform verification, and regression testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and clear documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate effectively, and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with test management tools, issue tracking systems, and basic knowledge of automation tools is an advantage.
