A leading fan experience technology company is seeking a mid to senior level Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in SQA methodologies and be proficient in automation and API testing. This role involves developing test plans, performing various tests, and ensuring product reliability. Currently, remote work is required until conditions improve to resume at the Karachi office.

Job Specification

What You Need for this Position:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases as per requirement.
• Perform UI, ad-hoc, functionality, security and performance testing.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Writing database queries for testing
• Ability to use Postman and\or Ready-API to execute REST service requests for API testing.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing projects to meet client needs.
• Utilize DevOps, JIRA or any other tool for bug tracking as per company requirements to execute tests, log defects and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with product owners, product manager, and team members to identify areas and methods to help improve testing efficiency, expand coverage and increase product reliability.

Preferred Skills:

• Should have automation skills understanding using the latest tools, standards and technologies
• Familiar with API automation testing
• Should have good concept / knowledge of security testing tools like Acunetix and performance testing tools like JMeter, Load Runner etc.
• Is self-motivated and can work with minimal direction
• Excellent speaking, listening and written communication skills
• Knowledge and adherence to the Agile / Scrum work principles
• Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and stay organized
• Must be detail oriented
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
