Job summary

CodeNinja is seeking a senior Solutions Architect in Lahore to lead technical pre-sales, deliver architectural designs, and drive AWS-based migrations at scale. You will work hands-on with early engineers, develop reference architectures, and mentor the growing team while shaping the practice.

The role emphasizes customer-facing leadership, Well-Architected reviews, and building reusable IP to accelerate delivery across regions and clients.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture / cloud engineering.
• Delivery of migrations and modernizations at scale with Well-Architected fluency.
• Hands-on IaC and containers (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK; ECS/EKS).
• Customer-facing gravitas to lead architecture conversations with exec level stakeholders.
• First SA in a greenfield practice with mentorship role for junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales: discovery, solutioning, estimation and proposal architecture.
• Run Well-Architected Framework Reviews (WAFR) and Foundational Technical Reviews (FTR).

Be the founding technical hire and authority of the practice — own pre-sales architecture, Well-Architected Reviews and FTRs, deliver hands-on, produce the evidence behind designations and competencies, and grow the engineering bench.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales: discovery, solutioning, estimation and proposal architecture.


• Run Well-Architected Framework Reviews (WAFR) and Foundational Technical Reviews (FTR).


• Deliver hands-on alongside the early engineering team (you are a builder, not just a reviewer).


• Own the technical evidence and case studies behind Service Delivery designations and the AI Competency.


• Set architecture standards and reusable IP (landing zones, reference architectures, accelerators).


• Mentor the Cloud Engineers and drive the certification ladder; grow into people-leadership as the team scales.

Experience & skills

• 8+ years in solutions architecture / cloud engineering, with deep, current AWS expertise across compute, networking, data and security.


• Proven delivery of migrations and modernizations at scale; strong Well-Architected fluency.


• Hands-on IaC mastery (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK) and containers (ECS/EKS) — the local-market baseline for senior AWS roles.


• Customer-facing gravitas — able to lead architecture conversations with enterprise CTOs/CIOs.


• Comfortable being the first SA in a greenfield practice and mentoring junior engineers.
