Job summary

CodeNinja is seeking a founding Technical Architect to lead pre-sales architecture and hands-on delivery. You will own Well-Architected Reviews, FTRs, and craft evidence-backed designations while growing the engineering bench.

You will guide migrations and modernizations at scale, mentor cloud engineers, and set reusable architecture standards. This is a builder-role with enterprise CTO/CIO interactions, aimed at accelerating our AI-driven delivery platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of solutions architecture / cloud engineering experience.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
• Hands-on IaC and container experience (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK; ECS/EKS).
• Strong customer-facing communication and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Experience leading in greenfield environments and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales: discovery, solutioning, estimation and proposal architecture.
• Run Well-Architected Framework Reviews (WAFR) and Foundational Technical Reviews (FTR).
• Deliver hands-on contributions alongside early engineering teams; be a builder, not just a reviewer.
• Own the technical evidence and case studies behind Service Delivery designations and AI competency.
• Set architecture standards and reusable IP (landing zones, reference architectures, accelerators).
• Mentor Cloud Engineers and grow the certification ladder; scale the team.

About the Role

Be the founding technical hire and authority of the practice — own pre-sales architecture, Well-Architected Reviews and FTRs, deliver hands-on, produce the evidence behind designations and competencies, and grow the engineering bench.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sales: discovery, solutioning, estimation and proposal architecture.

Experience & skills

• Proven delivery of migrations and modernizations at scale; strong Well-Architected fluency.
• Hands-on IaC mastery (Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK) and containers (ECS/EKS) — the local-market baseline for senior AWS roles.
• Customer-facing gravitas — able to lead architecture conversations with enterprise CTOs/CIOs.
• Comfortable being the first SA in a greenfield practice and mentoring junior engineers.
