Job summary

SwipBox is seeking aSenior QA Lead to steer the quality assurance function for its software products. You will mentor the QA team, define strategy, and ensure thorough testing across web apps, REST APIs, and backend services.

The role requires strong Agile/Scrum experience and a focus on metrics, process improvement, and timely issue resolution. You will collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure production readiness, risk mitigation, and high-quality releases in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience leading QA teams.
• Strong experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience testing web applications, REST APIs, and backend services.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
• Experience with test planning, estimation, and release management.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production readiness through structured validation and release verification.
• Manage defect lifecycle from identification through resolution and verification.
• Prioritize defects based on business impact and release timelines.
• Work closely with developers to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Improve QA processes, testing methodologies, and release quality.
• Define and maintain QA documentation, templates, and standards.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Identify quality risks early and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering teams.
• Follow Information Security objectives as defined under the ISO 27001 standard and ensure all team members are in Sync with these objectives and processes.
