We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with hands‑on expertise in test automation using Cypress and Appium. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for both web and mobile applications, ensuring a high standard of software quality across platforms.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and passionate about driving automation excellence within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications (Cypress) and mobile apps (Appium).
• Create, manage, and execute test plans, test cases, and test data to validate business and technical requirements.
• Perform manual testing when required for exploratory, edge, or new feature validation.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
• Report, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Contribute to the enhancement of the QA automation framework, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Ensure all deliverables meet defined quality metrics and performance standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including 1+ years in automation testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript) for web automation.
• Proven experience using Appium for mobile (iOS and Android) automation testing.
• Good understanding of API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
