Job summary

Axiom World in Lahore, Pakistan, seeks an Associate Software Engineer to develop and maintain Python applications under guidance of senior developers. The role emphasizes clean, efficient, reusable code following standards, collaboration with teammates, and input on technical feasibility.

Selected candidate will participate in code reviews, debug and troubleshoot, conduct unit testing, and document components.

Qualifications

• BSCS/ BSSE/ BSIT/ BSAI/ BS Data Science required.
• Fresh graduate or up to 6 months experience.
• Solid understanding of Python and OOP.
• Familiarity with version control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and provide input on technical feasibility.
• Participate in code reviews to improve code quality.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Conduct unit testing and documentation of software components.
• Stay updated with the latest Python frameworks, libraries, and tools to improve development efficiency.
• Contribute to design and architecture discussions for new projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and quality assurance, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of existing software systems.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of enterprise-level applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability
• Support the implementation of AI engineering solutions, including integrating machine learning models and AI-driven features into applications

• Having strong concepts in OOP, DataStructures, Design Patterns, MVC
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of Python programminglanguage.
• Proficient understanding of Git.
• Basic understanding of enterprise application development.
• Familiarity with AI engineering concepts.
• Understanding of AI-based process automation.
