Job summary

Educative is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Lahore team. You will own features end-to-end, design scalable solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging courses and tools for developers worldwide.

You will mentor peers, review code, and drive quality across the platform while staying ahead of technology trends and opportunities in cloud, containers, and modern web stacks.

Qualifications

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Good knowledge of multithreading.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of Git.
• Ability to work independently.
• Self-driven with a can-do attitude.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
• Laser-focused on delivering high-quality features.

Responsibilities

• Review code of other team members and provide constructive direction.

• Evaluate RCA findings and facilitate RCA meetings.

In This Role, You Will:

• Evaluate root cause analysis (RCA) and facilitate RCA evaluation meetings.
• Ensure the global platform architecture provides excellent agility, functionality, scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Carry out a constant technology watch and stay aware of market opportunities and competitive threats.
• Identify emerging technologies and set the direction of technological innovation and product investment.

About You:

• BS, MS or Ph.D. in computer science.

• Working experience with low-level systems and knowledge of Linux networking stack.
• Experience with AWS.
