Job summary

NCR Atleos, headquartered in Atlanta, is seeking a Software Engineer in Karachi, Pakistan, with 2–3 years of software development experience. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on with .NET: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET.
• Minimum 2 years Python for automation, integrations, data processing or backend work.
• Experience building, testing, and maintaining enterprise apps.
• Strong OO programming and best practices.
• Experience with APIs, databases and system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications with .NET and Python.
• Build web apps, APIs, and backend services using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core/.NET.
• Develop Python-based automation, integrations, data processing, and backend functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable software.
• Participate in all SDLC phases: design, development, testing, deployment and support.
• Write clean, maintainable code following coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure performance and reliability.
• Perform unit testing and support integration/UAT activities.
• Maintain technical docs and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Work with databases, APIs, and integrated systems to meet business needs.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer with 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software development. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in Microsoft .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET) and Python for automation, integrations, data processing, and backend development.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies and Python.
• Build and enhance web applications, APIs, and backend services using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core/.NET.
• Develop Python‑based solutions to support automation, system integrations, data processing, and backend functionality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core/.NET.
• Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience using Python for automation, integrations, data processing, backend development, or related software engineering activities.
• Experience developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles and software development best practices.
• Experience working with APIs, databases, and system integrations.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cross‑functional team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
