Job summary

Ecs Me is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer (L3) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using a modern stack. You will lead backend initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust products.

You should have 8+ years of backend experience, be proficient in Node.js and TypeScript, and comfortable with microservices, databases, and cloud services. Strong testing and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend development.
• Experience with scalable, microservices-based architectures.
• Proficiency in backend technologies listed above (Node.js, TypeScript, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, S3, WebRTC, FCM & APNS, HMS).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with messaging/streaming tools (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Strong testing/debugging skills (Jest, Mocha, Chai).
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer (L3) with extensive experience in backend development, scalable architecture, and a modern technology stack. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems supporting highly scalable products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead backend initiatives while staying updated on emerging trends and best practices.

Must Have Skills (Mandatory)

• Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience, focused on backend development
• Proficiency in backend technologies: Node.js, TypeScript, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL
• Strong experience in designing and developing scalable, microservices-based architectures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, S3, WebRTC, FCM & APNS, HMS push notifications)
• Working experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with messaging and streaming tools like RabbitMQ/Kafka
• Strong testing and debugging skills (Jest, Mocha, Chai)
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities

Good-to-have Skills (Optional)

• Exposure to frontend technologies like React.js
• Experience with XMPP and Scaling Sockets
