Zones, LLC in Islamabad, Pakistan, is seeking a Services Contract & Billing Lead to plan and manage billing operations for client services. You will work with Project Managers, Account Managers, and the Client Success Manager to ensure monthly invoicing aligns with SOWs, budgets, and contractual requirements.

The role requires strong problem solving, communication, and the ability to influence both business and technical stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred (Pakistan) or Bachelor's in accounting/finance (US).
• Experience in service billing, accounting, or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• End of Month Billing: ensure all billing for services is accurate each month per the SOWs.
• Billing Coordination: gather necessary billing information with PMs, AMs and stakeholders for accurate invoicing.
• Billing Tracking: monitor project billing vs budgeted SOW amounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Billing Documentation: maintain SOWs, PCRs, billing reports and related records.
• Billing Review: review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and contractual compliance after month-end.
• Discrepancy Resolution: investigate and resolve billing issues with internal teams and clients.
• Reporting: produce reports on billing activities, including invoicing status and outstanding invoices.
• Process Improvement: identify opportunities to streamline billing processes and improve accuracy.
• Communication: act as billing contact for PM/AM/CSM with timely responses.

Services Contract & Billing Leadwill scope and execute initiatives by partnering with client team and internal stakeholders to understand and prioritize initiatives to improve organization performance. Improvement may constitute increased speed, enhanced efficiency, lower cost, higher revenue or a combination of all.

Key Responsibilities

1. End of Month Billing: Work with relevant stakeholders to ensure all billing for services is performed accurately each month per the SOWs.
2. Billing Coordination: Coordinate with Project Managers, Account Managers and other relevant stakeholders to gather necessary billing information to ensure accurateinvoicing.
3. Billing Tracking: Monitor project billing and compare it to budgeted amounts outlined in the SOWs. Identify discrepancies and work with Project Managers to address them.
4. Billing Documentation: Maintain detailed billing documentation, including SOWs, Project Change Requests (PCRs), billing reports, and any other relevant records to support billing activities.
5. Billing Review: Following the end of each month review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
6. Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues in a timely manner, working closely with internal teams and clients as needed.
7. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on billing activities, including invoicingstatus, billing cycle metrics, and any outstanding invoices.
8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline billing processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall billing accuracy.
9. Communication: Serve as a point of contact for Project Manager (PM), Account Manager (AM) and Client Success Manager (CSM) inquiries related to billing providing timely and accurate responses to ensure internal and external client satisfaction.

• Master's degree in management, business, IT or a related field preferred (Pakistan) orBachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred (US).
• Proven experience in service billing, accounting, or financial analysis role.
• Strong understanding of billing processes, financial principles, and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as accounting software, spreadsheets, and billing systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
