Job summary

leading-edge is seeking a Technical Project Manager with 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in Agile environments. You will collaborate with customers to define requirements and own communication across stakeholders.

The role leads a team of developers, SQAs, and designers, driving delivery across mobile and web apps using Scrum or Kanban, while mentoring junior resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 6-8 years of software development experience, with 1-2 years in a Project/Development Manager/Lead role.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects using Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong programming and analytical skills.
• Hands-on experience implementing at least one Agile Framework.
• Experience with project management tools.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a successful track record of leading teams.
• Experience in an offshore software development environment is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers and prospects to gather and define requirements
• Own all communication, including status reporting, risk management, and issue escalation
• Set and manage client expectations early, proactively addressing potential issues
• Foster a positive working environment across teams for stronger alignment and coordination
• Oversee and support the analysis, design, and development of mobile and web application projects
• Implement Agile methodologies to ensure quality project delivery within timelines
• Lead the team with an Agile mindset, transferring company culture and values to junior resources
• Manage and lead a team of software developers, SQAs, and designers
• Assign tasks to the team and ensure implementation as per requirements
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously using innovative management techniques
• Coach and mentor the software development team
• Collaborate with all project delivery teams with a unified approach
