VIDIZMO, a USA-based technology company, seeks a Senior SQL Server professional to design, optimize, and secure databases powering enterprise apps. You’ll craft complex T-SQL, review AI outputs, and collaborate with engineering and QA to ensure reliable data.

Based in Karachi, Pakistan, the role requires 5+ years of MS SQL Server experience, strong data modeling, ETL knowledge, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong command over T-SQL, including query writing, joins, indexing, and optimization.
• Solid understanding of database normalization, data modeling, and ER diagrams.
• Proven knowledge of backup and recovery, database security, and performance tuning.
• Advanced familiarity with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio) or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with ETL concepts and data integration workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases to support business applications and reporting needs.
• Reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs.
• Ownership of final deliverables, regardless of AI assistance.
• Ability to critically evaluate AI results and ensure they meet defined requirements.
• Accountability for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Ensure database performance, integrity, and security.
• Support database backup, restore, and recovery processes.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Assist in data migration, ETL processes, and integration between systems.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless data flow and reliability.
• Participate in database documentation and version control practices.
