Job summary

Contour Software in Lahore is seeking a Senior SQA Automation Analyst to expand and mature test automation for a complex SaaS platform. You will accelerate Playwright adoption, improve regression coverage, and strengthen CI/CD quality gates while supporting AI-assisted testing initiatives.

You will collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams to raise quality standards and reduce defect leakage. This role is based in Contour Software’s Lahore office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional QA experience with strong hands-on AI & Automation expertise.
• Significant experience in software quality engineering, including automation architecture and advisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, design techniques, and risk-based testing.
• Experience with API and integration testing, data validation, and test data management.
• Experience integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines and improving feedback reliability.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve quality engineering frameworks across functional, API, integration, contract, end-to-end, performance, resilience, accessibility, security, and data quality testing.
• Select appropriate testing methods and layers based on risk, system behavior, feedback speed, and maintenance cost.
• Build reusable automation components, test data utilities, and reporting capabilities.
• Establish reliable approaches to test environments, synthetic data, setup, cleanup, and repeatable execution.
• Evaluate frameworks and tools through pilots, considering effectiveness, maintainability, integration, scalability, and cost.
• Embed quality practices into requirements, design, construction, release, and operations; translate business intent into acceptance criteria.
• Apply AI to test design, automation development, exploratory testing support, failure investigation, and documentation.
• Integrate automated validation into developer workflows and CI/CD pipelines; define quality gates.
